We’ve now produced our first audio show — Stags Talk, a weekly discussion of all the latest goings-on at Field Mill. We’ve got our chief Ashfield reporter and footie anorak Stephen Thirkill hosting the show, with sports editor John Lomas and deputy editor (and Mansfield Town obsessive) Tim Morriss as pundits. I’m very pleased with the results — everyone sounded pretty comfortable and had plenty of opinions to be going on with. We’re hoping to tighten it up structurally, by including items like listener questions and breaking things up with a few more audio interviews.
We’ve a couple of technical hoops to jump through yet, but hopefully it will soon be available from iTunes as a Chad podcast (or ‘Chadcast’ — a term coined by Johnston Press’s George Hopkin).
Once we’ve got all this sorted, we’ve got two more Chadcasts in the pipeline – an entertainment show and a news discussion piece. They’ll both be weekly as well. Exciting!
