Prolific local blogger Matt Wardman has been so inspired by the post-Olympic Becky-mania that he has kindly (and maybe a little sarcastically) assembled a series of ‘Militant about Mansfield’ buttons. Go and have a look. Personally, I’m holding out for a Richard Bacon special edition.

    I’m quite happy do a “Richard Bacon” edition, but I need to know he fits in – of the others Rebecca A seems quite enthusiastic, Alvin Stardust has a sense of humour so hopefully would not mind, Tony Egginton is in a bit of a mess if he isn’t, and Lord Byron is not really in a position to argue…
